Summary The government has withdrawn murder charged against Baldia factory owners.
The murder charges against the Baldia Town factory owners have been withdrawn on the directives issued by by the Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf.
At least 269 people were killed in the worst ever industrial disaster in the history of Pakistan. The case was registered under sections related to murder against the factory owners. However, Section 302 has been removed from the FIR on PM Raja Pervez Ashraf’s directives.
