LAHORE:-Dunya News has acquired proofs of Indian conspiracies being hatched to halt the construction of more hydel power projects in order overcome energy crisis.

According to sources, India has resumed lobbying to misguide international monetary institutions on hydro projects including Bhasha Dam, Bonji hydro projects in Gilgit-Baltistan and Azad Kashmir. Moreover, India also has recorded its complaint with the World Bank that had assures financial assistance to Pakistan regarding construction of dams.

According to a letter written by Pakistani High Commissioner, India claims its control on Gilgit Baltistan where these projects are going to be constructed; that is why it is raising the issue without any justification on international level.

Pakistan High Commissioner also has asked the Foreign Ministry and Ministry for Water and Power to face the Indian propaganda.

High Commissioner also has requested the aforesaid ministries for provision of facts and figures in this regard so that he may be able to present his stance in the face of Indian misinformation.

It is deplorable to say that none of the aforesaid ministries has provided proper assistance to the High Commissioner, causing delay in the issues of funding for hydro projects including Bhasha Dam.
