Summary The officials are observing a pen-down strike to press their demand.
ISLANABAD: NAB officials are observing a pen-down strike against the death of their colleague Kamran Faisal, an officer of National Accountability Bureau (NAB), who was investigating the Rental Power case.
Earlier, the federal government has constituted a judicial commission headed by Justice (r) Javed Iqbal to investigate cause of death of Kamran Faisal. The commission will present its reports in two weeks.
On the other hand, one of the mobile messages in the campaign launched by unnamed NAB employees says: “We demand complete implementation of Supreme Court judgment dated 15th January 2013 which should culminate into the arrest of all accused persons. We will not rest till the culprits are behind the bars. We declare complete pen down strike till the issuance of arrest warrants from CN (chairman) NAB and also on the apathy of our so called high command who did not have the courtesy of attending the funeral of the first martyr of Bureau.”
