Summary At least six people were killed when fire engulfed a plaza at Montgomery Road in Lahore.
According to details, fire broke out in a plaza at the Montgomery Road at around 11:00pm on Saturday night and soon spread to two adjoining plazas, killing six people and injuring 11 others.
Fire brigade and Rescue teams reached the sight of the blaze and started rescue operation. At least forty people were rescued from the buildings where 15 to 20 families were residing.
Fire fighters and rescue teams from other parts of the city were also called in to bring the fire under control which cannot be extinguished till filing of this report.
