Summary President Asif Ali Zardari condoled with Nawaz Sharif over the death of his brother.
KARACHI: President Asif Ali Zardari telephoned PML-N Chief Nawaz Sharif on Thursday and condoled with him over the death of his brother.
The President said that he will also visit Raiwind to personally offer fateha and condolences.
He also prayed for eternal rest to the soul of late Abbas Sharif and for grant of patience to all members of the bereaved family to bear the loss with equanimity. Nawaz Sharif thanked the President for his gesture.
Earlier, federal ministers including Makhdoom Ameen Fahim, Chaudhry Ahmad Mukhtar had visited Raiwind and had condoled with Nawaz Sharif on behalf of the President.
In Past, the PML-N had been in contact with the PM instead of the President but now the ice seems to break as leaderships of both parties have started meetings and the President has also given gesture to hold meeting with Nawaz Sharif soon in the coming days.
