ISLAMABAD: Justice Tassaduq Hussain Jillani, a senior judge of the Supreme Court , took oath as acting Chief Justice of Pakistan after CJP Iftikhar Chaudhry went to Saudi Arabia to perform Umrah, Dunya News reported on Monday.
Justice Nasir-ul-Mulk administered oath to the acting Chief Justice at Supreme Court building in Islamabad.
Representatives of the Bars, Prominent Lawyers and Law Officers attended the oath taking ceremony.
