Summary US Ambassador to Pakistan has condemned terrorist attack in which Bashir Ahmed Bilour was killed.
ISLAMABAD: The Us Ambassador Richard Olson has said that he along with the staff of US Embassy at Islamabad is deeply saddened at the death of Senior Minister Bashir Ahmed Bilour and offer his condolences to the bereaved family and friends.
In a statement issued from US Embassy on Sunday he said that Bahsir Bilour was a courageous man and an outspoken voice against the politics of fear and terror. “We applaud his commitment to democratic values, which led him into harm s way more than once”, he added.
The Ambassador said that US Embassy joins the people of Pakistan in condemning this outrageous attack, and hope that his vision of a secure and prosperous Pakistan will continue in the work of those that he inspired.
