The Pakistani Taliban claimed responsibility for a suicide attack in the country s northwest Saturday that killed eight people including a senior provincial minister.
The Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) movement targeted Bashir Ahmed Bilour, number two to the provincial chief minister, in revenge for the death of one of its elders, spokesman Ehsanullah Ehsan told AFP.
