LAHORE: Punjab Law Minister Rana Sanaullah on Wednesday claimed that former Ogra chief Tauqir Sadiq is hiding in Islamabad, Dunya News reported.
Talking to media outside Punjab Assembly, the provincial law minister stated that Tauqir Sadiq, an accused in the multi-billion-rupee scam in the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority(Ogra), was provided shelter at Punjab Governor House and from there he was taken to Islamabad.
To a question, Rana Sanaullah said recommendations of Public Accounts Committee (PAC) will be implemented.
He also commented that security for the polio teams in Punjab has been tightened following shooting incidents in Sindh and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa that killed at least eight health workers.
