Summary MQM chief Altaf Hussain says that he would not protest against the verdict of Supreme Court.

KARACHI: In his telephonic address to party workers in Lal Qila Ground in Karachi, he said that he has no plan to protest demonstration against the Supreme Court’s judgment; rather he would prefer to submit his reply in the apex court while living within limits of the Constitutions.

He reiterated that no power of the world could exterminate the MQM except almighty Allah.

He made it clear that people had observed the end of those who used to level fake and fabricated allegations in the name of politics for their vested interests.

He repeated that he has great honour for national institutions; that is why he has decided to submit his reply in the court.

It is worth mentioning that Supreme Court of Pakistan had issued a contempt of court notice to Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain on Friday under Article 204 of the Constitution and Section 3 of the Contempt of Court law.

The court directed PEMRA to provide a transcript of the MQM chief s telephonic address.

The chief justice remarked that the speech delivered by Altaf Hussain following the delimitation order was not only contemptuous but also held a note of threat.
