Kabul must share solid proofs before leveling charges: PM

ISLAMABAD: PM Raja Parvez Ashraf dubbed the Afghan allegations on Pakistan over the attack on its intelligence chief as baseless, Dunya News reported on Thursday. 

 

Addressing the cabinet meeting in Islamabad‚ he said the Afghan government instead of hurling baseless allegations should provide solid proofs in this regard. He made it clear that Pakistan is a peace loving country and attaches great importance to its relationship with all the countries particularly with the neighboring countries.

 

The Prime Minister said terrorism is a global phenomenon and all the countries should join hands to defeat the mindset. He said the neighbouring countries should come out of blame game and collectively fight the menace. He said Pakistan will confront the terrorists at all fronts.

 

Raja Parvez Ashraf condemned the terrorist attacks in Bannu and on the rally of Awami National Party. He said such cowardly acts cannot shake our resolve to wipe out the menace of extremism and terrorism.

 

The Prime Minister appreciated President Asif Ali Zardari announcing 10 million dollars for the Malala Fund. He expressed the confidence that this step will help defeat elements of violence‚ hatred and ignorance.

 

The cabinet offered Fateha for Senators Malik Salahuddin and Wali Muhammad Badini. It also discussed the overall law and order situation in the country.
