Federal Interior Minister Rehman Malik will make Benazir Bhutto murder case public on December 27, at the death anniversary of former two-time premier, say media reports.
On Wednesday, a special anti-terrorism court (ATC) accorded its approval to make the details of trial and progress made so far in Benazir Bhutto assassination case public.
Chaudhry Zulfiqar, Prosecutor General of the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA), told the court the federal government wants to share the details of Benazir Bhutto case with public and needs the court s permission.
Judge Chaudhry Habib ur Rehman said that Bhutto case trial was not in-camera, therefore, the federal government could make it public anytime under the law. There is no need to seek permission from the court in this regard, the judge said.
