Summary Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) to meet today to review reference against dual nationality.
An important session of the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) is to be held here on Tuesday (today) with its chairman Justice Retd Fakhruddin G. Ebrahim, in the chair.
The commission would ponder over the applications pertaining to dual nationality against two members of the national assembly and 43 members of the provincial assemblies in the session, amid the affairs regarding the forthcoming general elections would also come under consideration.
According to details the commission is to formulate strategies for proper execution of the apex court’s judgments over changing of the constituencies in Karachi. While the matters pertaining to allotment and changing of election signs of political parties would also come under consideration, in the commission’s meeting.
The commission would also deliberate over the application of the PTI chief Imran Khan for conducting election at NA 42 a constituency of the tribal areas.
