Summary Lawyers have once again tortured a police officer in the court premises.
A group of lawyers on Thursday thrashed a sub-inspector in the premises of sessions court when he presented evidence regarding innocence of an accused.According to sub-inspector Imtiaz Wahla, complainant’s counsel Qamar Meo, during a case, forced him not present evidence in favour of the accused.Advocate Qamar Meo alongwith other colleagues subjected the sub-inspector to torture when he appeared before additional sessions judge Zafar Iqbal.Later, other police officers intervened to control the situation.A case has been lodged against 25 lawyers including advocate Qamar Shahid Meo and the victim has also urged Lahore High Court Chief Justice and IG Punjab to take action.
