Summary Operation against criminal elements in Lyari has been stopped for 24 hours.
While talking to Dunya News, Sindh IG Mushtaq Shah said that criminal elements have been provided an opportunity to refrain from their scandalous activities.He said that the criminal elements have been directed to surrender within suggested period; otherwise, comprehensive operation carried out by the Rangers and police would be launched against them.On the other hand, chaotic situation in Lyari remained as usual as terrorists hidden in their dens fired about 10 rockets within a few minutes, hitting armoured vehicles. Two police employees also sustained injuries and were shifted to hospital.Terrorists are targeting security forces from different localities including Cheel Chowk, Gabool Park and its outskirts.Police had claimed to complete the operation against miscreants today but it could not cross the Cheel Chowk.
