Summary Police continues their operation on the fourth day to restore peace in Lyari.
According to the latest details, one person has been injured in firing incident near Cheel chowk while unidentified men set a bus on fire.New and heavy contingents of police have been deployed in the city while assailants continue their firing with advanced weapons. Three armoured vehicles have been damaged in the four-day operation so far.Due to the ongoing fighting between the police and assailants, severe shortage of food and electricity has compelled the residents to shift to safer places.Meanwhile, protests have been staged in different cities of Karachi against the operation in Lyari. The demonstrators demanded to end the operation in Lyari immediately.
