Summary Gilani has said that Nawaz Sharif is desperate as he is losing his popularity in the country.
Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gilani has said that PPP led government respects all state institutions‚ including judiciary.While talking to a delegation of lawyers in Lahore on Saturday, Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gilani said that PPP played a very active role in the movement for the restoration of deposed judiciary,adding that the PPP led government would uphold the constitution.The Prime Minister said he followed the advice for not writing the letter to the Swiss court as the constitution provides immunity to President.Gilani said that PML-N chief Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif was desperate as he was losing his popularity and the result of recent bye-election in Multan is a proof to that fact.Earlier, a delegation of newly elected office bearers of Lahore Press Club led by its President Arshad Ansari also called on Pm Yousaf Raza Gilani.The delegation invited the Prime Minister to be the Chief Guest at the oath taking ceremony of the newly elected body which the Prime Minister accepted.Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani assured the delegation of early release of promised funds.
