Issue of indictment against Babar postponed

Two-member bench of SC comprising Justice Ijaz Afzal and Justice Athar Saeed conducted hearing of the contempt of court case against Babar Awan.Babar’s counsel Barrister Ali Zafer appeared before the court for arguments but the court, once again, postponed the proceedings. During this, Babar Awan wanted to go out of the court room but judges, while passing their remarks, said that Babar Awan should sit on his seat as they were to dictate the judgment. At this, Babar Awan said that he was not going from the court room; rather he was just changing his seat. Babar Awan said that he would file an intra court appeal against the indictment case. Now, Babar Awan would be indicted on May 10. It is worthy of note that court has delayed its proceedings two times before this.
