Summary Railways Ministry has decided to change security plan at railway stations across the country.

Police is of the view that due to mechanical faults of CCTV cameras, they have to face tremendous problems in investigation.Chairman Railways Arif Azeem, while talking to Dunya News, said that special funds are going to be allocated for implementation on new security plan. Directions also have been issued to install CCTV cameras, walkthrough gates and scanners on railway stations.He said that out of order security instruments would be renovated while police staff would be equipped with bomb disposal squad and latest weapons.He said that body comprising of four officials has been made to investigate the current mishap occurred on the Lahore Railway Station.On the other DIG Investigation Ali Amir Malik said that terrorist might have come to Lahore by train, adding that worker’s corpse is evident that explosive was enveloped in luggage.According to preliminary investigation, it has become apparent that the bomb was exploded by time device, he said.He said that it is deplorable to say that security cameras installed on Faisalabad are out of order while monitoring room is also not working as per schedule.
