The Supreme Court resumed the hearing of the PM contempt case in a 7-member bench headed by Nasirulmulk. PM’s attorney Aitzaz insisted the letter to the Swiss officials cannot be written for the time being.He also suggested impeaching the president if the court considered him guilty. Letter will be written after the tenure of the president is over, he assured the court. It is privilege of the prime minister to apprise the court of the reasons for not implementing the verdict of the Supreme Court.The court said that write the letter even if the president has the immunity. The court said it will decid on the submissions of the PM to the court regarding his decision of not writing the letter to the Swiss officials.
