Summary The Supreme Court has resumed the hearing of court contempt case against PM Gilani.

The seven-member bench of the Supreme Court headed by Justice Nasirul Mulk has resumed the hearing of contempt case against Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani.The Prime Minister was indicted for contempt of court after his failure to address a letter to the Swiss authorities requesting them to re-open closed graft cases against President Asif Ali Zardari.Seven-member bench headed by Justice Nasirul Mulk is hearing the NRO implementation Case. The same bench is hearing the contempt of case against prime minister.Prime Minister counsel Aitzaz Ahsan will continue his arguments in in the contempt case.During previous hearing of the NRO implementation case the Attorney General argued that it is impossible to follow the court orders on NRO Implementation Case as Contempt of Court Case is already under hearing.He requested that court that the NRO case should be delayed until and unless the Contempt of Court Case is under hearing.The Supreme Court will issue a new directive for not writing to Swiss authorities.
