Summary President Asif Ali Zardari has appealed to Indian PM to send Dr Khalil Chishti to Pakistan.
According to presidential spokesman, the letter was delivered by Pakistan High Commissioner to New Delhi.Indian PM Manmohan Singh has been appealed to sent Dr Khalil Chishti to Pakistan on humanitarian basis.President also referred the meeting held on dinner in Indian federation where issue of aged Pakistani Dr Khalil Chishti was also raised along with other issues regarding pacification of bilateral relations between India and Pakistan.The president also appealed to the Indian PM that the Indian Supreme Court has ordered for release of Dr Khalil; so special measures should be taken to send Dr Khalil to Pakistan.President also said, “This action would not only add your prestige but also lay the foundation of new relation on humanitarian basis.Presient Asif Ali Zardari also gave reference to the meeting held between Minister for Interior Rehman Malik and his Indian counterpart Chandam Baram.
