Babar Awan seeks unconditional apology from SC

The plea was submitted to the registrar of the Supreme Court of Pakistan. The apex court was hearing the contempt case against former law minister for his remarks in a press conference regarding the decision of the Supreme Court on Memo Commission.Babar Awan has also sought apology from Justice Asif Saeed Khosa.Babar Awan in his apology submitted that he has the highest regard and respect for the apex court and he has been expressing such feelings both inside and outside the court. He submitted that whatever he stated in the news conference regarding the judiciary was unintentional and he offers unconditional apology for his utterances. He also prayed the court to discharge contempt proceedings against him.The Supreme Court has adjourned the hearing of contempt of court case against PPP leader Babar Awan till the 18th of this month.
