Summary Punjab government extends its cooperation with Iran in agriculture and industrial sectors.
A delegation of Punjab government has left for Iran with an agenda to ratify the agreements already made with Iran.A nine-member delegation is headed by Punjab’s senior Advisor Sardar Zulfiqar Khan Khosa.Talking to media before the departure, Sardar Zulfiqar Khosa said Punjab government will provide all possible facilities to Iran in the agriculture and industrial sectors.He further told media that a discussion will also be held with Iran over the generation of solar energy in the province.Iran’s Consul General Muhammad Hussain Bani Asadi earlier said that his country was aware of the energy situation in Pakistan and could extend cooperation in resolving it.Despite U.S. sanctions on Iran, Pakistan continues to strengthen its ties with the neighboring country by signing different agreements on provincial and national level.
