Summary LHC Chief Justice rejects IG Punjabs plea to remove stay order in DSPs promotion case.
During the hearing, the appeal filed by the IG Punjab requested the Chief Justice to remove stay order issued by service tribunal on the promotion of DSPs.Adding remarks, Chief Justice Sheikh Azmat Saeed called the law officers of Punjab government incompetent. He said the court will pass a law in this case and would forward it to the Punjab Minister.Rejecting the plea of IG Punjab for further proceedings, Chief Justice Sheikh Azmat Saeed said that such pleas are wastage of time and can be solely handled by the service tribunal.
