Summary Lahore High Court (LHC) has adjourned hearing into the petition against unscheduled load shedding.
During the hearing, Khawaja Tariq, PEPCO lawyer, said that PEPCO has exempted all governmental hospitals and departments of defense along with Presidency, PM house and Chief ministers and Governors’ House from load shedding.The court directed the petitioner to submit its reply over this statement and adjourned the hearing till April 14.The case was heard by Chief Justice Sheikh Azmat Saeed at Lahore High Court. The petition has been filed by the Judicial Activism Panel (JAP) seeking exemption of hospitals and courts from load shedding and load management restrictions.
