Summary Traders and transporters have rejected raise in current petroleum prices.
They also warned that if raise in petroleum prices was not withdrawn, they would commence a countrywide strike and rallies.According to Karachi Traders Ittehad President Ateeq Mir, mercantile activities have been badly affected due to law and order situation in the city, adding that unlimited raise in petroleum prices has aggravated the situation.He warned that if raise in petroleum prices was not withdrawn within three days, the traders would prepare a strategy on national level against the government.Karachi Transporter Ittehad has also rejected raise in petroleum prices and called a special meeting in emergency.On the other hand, All Pakistan CNG Association have also rejected current raise in petroleum prices and called a meeting for next strategy to cope with the critical and uncertain situation.While showing their concern over enhancement in petroleum prices, CNG association spokesmen said that it would be unbearable for consumers.CNG Sindh Zone incharge Saleman said that rise in CNG price is illegal which would be challenged in the court.All Pakistan CNG Association meeting would be held tomorrow in Islamabad.
