Summary Pakistan High commission in London arranged a reception in honour of Shermeen Obaid Chinoy.
Speaking on the occasion, the Oscar award winner Pakistani film director Shermeen Obaid Chinoy said that a social evil has been highlighted in her movie ‘’Saving Face’.She said that the issue raided in the movie is global. Shermeen said that she wanted an end to acid throwing incidents against women.The crew members of the ‘Saving Face’ were also present on the occasion. Speaking on the occasion, Pakistan’s High Commissioner in London, Wajid Shamsuddin , congratulated Shermeen and other crew members for winning the Oscar award.
