Summary Two policemen in guise of absconders were arrested while demanding Rs 5 million as extortion.
According to details, an employee of Patrolling Police Nadeem Sohail and a jail official Tariq telephoned to the general manager of a rice mill and told him that they were extortionists. They demanded Rs 5 million within three days and gave life threats in case of nonpayment. But the manager informed the mill owner who later contacted police.The accused telephoned again to demand the money.
