Summary Ahl-e-Sunnat wal Jamaat leader Maulana Ahmed Ludhianvi has been released after a few hours arrest.
Police I 9 registered a case against Maulana Ahmed Ludhianvi on violation of 144 and police arrested him immediately after he participated in a rally of Difa-i-Pakistan Council or Defence of Pakistan Council (DPC).The activists of Ahl-e-Sunnat wal Jamaat and other political parties staged protest and demanded release of Ludhianvi.He was released after Maulana Fazal-ur-Rahman Khalil, Ijaz Ulhaq, Senator Talha Mehmood and other leaders’ meeting with Islamabad police DIG and Deputy Commissioner.
