Haqqani too wants to record statement by video link

In 82-page reply, Haqqani has rejected all the allegations leveled against him by Mansoor Ijaz and has stated that memo is baseless. He also mentioned that he never contacted with Mansoor. Haqqani also rejected all the electronic proofs which had been presented by Mansoor Ijaz before the commission.On the other hand, Hussain Haqqani also filed a petition in the Supreme Court to record his statement in London.In the petition, Haqqani requested to the court to permit him to record his statement at the Pakistani High Commission in London.Earlier, the commission had turned down Haqqani’s request to record his testimony via video link and asked him to appear before the commission on March 26 in Islamabad.It is pertinent to mention here that Haqqani was allowed by the commission to travel abroad on the condition that he would return to the country within four days whenever he would be summoned by the commission.
