Summary President Asif Ali Zardari has conferred civil award Hilal-e-Imtiaz on Mian Amir Mehmood.
Chief Executive Dunya News Mian Amir Mehmood has been honoured with Hilal-e-Imtiaz on Pakistan Day for his outstanding services in the field of education.Mian Amir was born on 25 July 1960 in Model Town, Lahore. He received a Master of Business Administration from the University of the Punjab.He laid foundation of Punjab Group of Colleges in 1985, which has been expanded in more than 12 cities of the country.Later, he established University of Central Punjab in Lahore. He is also Chancellor of Muhammad Ali Jinnah University Karachi.Mian Amir had also served as District Nazim Lahore twice.
