Summary The Supreme Court will resume hearing of the Balochistan target killing case today.
The three-member bench of the Supreme Court comprising Chief justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhary, Justice Khilji Arif Hussain and Justice Tariq Pervaiz will resume hearing of the case today.During the previous hearing, the SC summoned Balochistan IG and directed to submit the inquiry report regarding murder of Mukhtar Domki’s family members.The Chief Justice had expressed his annoyance over the missing of Hamza Advocate and summoned Balochstan IG on next hearing.The SC has also sought reports from Balochistan Chief Secretary and Balochistan IG regarding kidnapping and target killing in Balochistan.In his remarks, Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry said that IG is responsible for maintenance of law and order but he mostly remains in Islamabad.The court also sought report regarding proceedings in murder case of Mukhtar Domki’s family members.
