Malik orders operation against extortionists tonight

While talking to the media in Karachi, he said that government has decided to introduce ‘Bhatta Act’ against mafia that has snatched away the mercantile activities of the metropolis which is actually hub of economy.He said that powerful committees have been formed to tackle the problem.“Traders community had complained that they found no police officer in the station whenever they contacted. In order to tackle this situation, a new office of SHO Extortionist has been made in every police station which would deal only extortion issues”, he said. He appealed to the traders that they should avoid purchasing mobile from any doubtful person, adding that whosoever is caught while committing violation of the order, he would be tried under Anti Terrorism Act. He assured that operation against extortionists would be conducted without any discrimination, adding that media men would also be at the spot where operation is to be conducted.
