Summary A civil court has rejected bail plea of Rana Tausif, accused of Faisalabad Press Club firing case.

Rana Tausif, brother-in-law of provincial Law Minister Rana Sanaullah, has filed a petition in the court, seeking his release on bail. Civil Judge Ijaz Ahmad heard and rejected the plea. On March 11, armed men had injured a number of journalists by firing in the Faisalabad Press Club. Dunya News had telecasted CCTV footage which revealed that Punjab Law Minister’s brother-in-law Rana Tausif was also involved in the incident.
