PM assures maximum public relief in next budget

Talking to the media persons in Lahore on Friday‚ Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani said he has already directed the finance ministry to create one hundred thousand jobs for the youth.He said no government in the past has completed its mandated term. It is the first government in the history which despite all odds‚ have completed four years in power. He said we will also write the history by presenting the fifth budget.The PM said President Asif Ali Zardari is addressing the joint sitting of the parliament tomorrow in which he will give his policy statement. He said it is the first time in the history of Pakistan that a democratically elected president will be addressing the joint session for the fifth consecutive time.Earlier‚ addressing the Convocation of Kinnaird College for Women in Lahore Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani has said that empowerment of women and minorities is a key to realizing the cherished goal of a tolerant‚ moderate and progressive Pakistan.He said empowerment of a woman is not merely empowerment of an individual. Rather‚ it is empowerment of a family and indeed a society at large.He said this is the first government in Pakistans history‚ which has had a remarkable representation of the women working at various tiers of the government.The Prime Minister announced twenty million rupees for construction of IT Block‚ ten million as Research grant‚ ten million for Endowment Fund and ten million rupees for purchase of vehicles for the college.
