Aslam Madiana, ex MPA and father of sitting PPP MPA Awais Madiana, had filed bail petition in the Lahore high court seeking confirmation of bail in the teacher torture case. After hearing the arguments, the court rejected his plea and ordered the police to arrest him, but Madiana managed to flee.Police have cordoned off the Lahore High Court premises.
