Summary The newly-elected Senators have taken oath of their offices on Monday.
In the first session of the Senate, at least 54 Senators took oath. PPP workers shouted slogans in the Senate for their victory. At this, PML-N member Zafer Ali Shah said that the Senate is constitutional institute which must be respected. He also drew attention of the mangers to get the hue and cry stopped and ultimately walked out of the Senate.
