Lahore hosts colourful cultural festival at PILAC

(Dunya News) – A 4-day cultural festival organised by the Punjab Institute of Language, Art, and Culture (PILAC) attracted hundreds of people as they witnessed a celebration of cultures from all across Pakistan.

From cultural sessions to folk tales, the festival was packed with cultural music and dance performances and showcased various stalls and cultural items from across the country.

Visitors in the festival enjoyed the music and performing arts from Punjab, Sindh, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Balochistan, Gigit Baltistan and Azad Kashmir, where cultural dance, folk music, classical music and ‘naatak’ (theatre) captured the hearts of the visitors.

Ustad Hamid Ali Khan’s performance stole the show with audiences cheering and applauding throughout.

Food stalls at the festival offering a wide variety of culinary delights from all across the country attracted people.

The festival will continue till February 21.
