ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting has rejected as fake and fabricated a New York Times report claiming that Pakistan Air Force aircraft could be used in operations against the Houthis.
According to the ministry, the New York Times report's claim regarding the use of Pakistani Air Force aircraft against the Houthis was baseless.
The ministry urged international media organisations to refrain from speculative reporting about the possible deployment or use of Pakistan's armed forces under the Mecca defence agreement.
It said that if any deployment or military operation became necessary, details would be provided by the relevant authorities.
The Ministry of Information concluded its statement by saying that truth prevails over falsehood.
