The ghazal king Mehdi Hassan is under treatment in a private hospital in Karachi.Mehdi’s Son Arif Mehdi has appealed to the government for the treatment of his father.Responding to this, President Asif Ali Zardari directed the Sindh government to bear all the expenditures of medical treatment of Mehdi Hassan.According to a statement issued by the Sindh government, President Asif Ali Zardari has termed the legendary singer as an asset for the country and directed to provide all facilities regarding his treatment.Mehdi Hassan was admitted into the intensive care unit (ICU) of a private hospital in Karachi after his chest pain increased and he felt trouble in breathing.
