A flash mob of about 50 dancers in colourful and vibrant costumes enthralled onlookers in Bangalore city of Indias southern Karnataka state.People were seen dancing on streets to various music numbers.Talking to mediapersons, a disc jockey, Jeff said that the objective is to create awareness among people, who think dancing is bad.Basically, what are doing is trying to spread the news and showing the love of music and there is nothing wrong about dancing and if you see Bangalore has been experiencing the whole dancing row. I have been to couple of clubs. As a DJ (Disc Jockey), I have been playing at couple of places as well but when people are being stopped for dancing, I just want to know, is there anything wrong we are doing it, we just want to do with the permission, abide the rules of the cops, police. We just wanted to do it with the law so that we can come together, so this was the whole idea of this flash mob that dancing is not illegal, said Jeff.The flash mob reached a crescendo when various Bollywood songs were played. The dancers in the flash mob took everybody by surprise as they performed a high energetic act.Talking to mediapersons, an artist Julie said that flash mob is a way to express freedom of unification.Many people come in from diverse things like diverse culture, places. The only common thing that they have together is music and dance, so definitely flash mob is a way to express freedom of unification. Diverse cultures coming together, I think that is the beautiful way of coming together and showing freedom of love and unification of different cultures, said Julie.The flash-mob style dance was designed so that the dancers meet at a pre-planned location and break into their routine.
