The surgery was conducted to remove a polyp from his vocal cord earlier this week and is he is said to be doing fine, the singers spokesman said on Friday. Urban had the procedure on Tuesday, and he will not be able to speak for three weeks, spokesman Paul Freundlich told Reuters. The singer is recovering at an undisclosed location.
