Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry said that an Islamic country has not pondered over request of our country seriously. The FIA and Foreign Office are responsible for this mismanagement.A two-member bench led by Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry heard the case regarding recovery of children of TV artiste Sofia Mirza.The Foreign Office submitted its report in the court and said that Umar Farooq escaped with children from Dubai to Turkey despite request of the government of Pakistan. The counsel for FO said that the FIA has cancelled the passport of Umar Farooq following court orders.Umar Farooq left from Abu Dhabi with cancelled passport.Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry said that it is negligence and incompetency of the FIA.
