Bollywood actor Shahrukh Khan launched a videogame to promote his upcoming sci-fi movie Ra.One in Mumbai, Indias entertainment capital on Monday.After launching the game Ra.One genesis, Khan said that the film termed to be the most expensive to be made in Bollywood, was a modern day entertainer and would attract people from all age brackets.Commenting on the game and this unique method of movie promotion, Khan stressed that this medium was the future. He stated that the virtual gaming world not only entertains youngsters but also creates an excitement for the movie by depicting the characters and storylineThe protagonists role played by Khan is called Shekhar Subramanium in the movie. The film pivots around Khan turning into a superhero in order to fulfill his sons expectations.The movie takes a turn when Shekhar designs a video game that has an impact on the lives of the characters, in both negative and positive ways.Bollywood actress Kareena Kapoor plays the role of Shekhars wife called Sonia Subramanium. Child actor Armaan Verma essays the role of Khans son, Prateek Subramanium. Other actors in the film are Dalip Tahil, Satish Shah and Shahana Goswami.The science-fiction film, directed by Anubhav Sinha, is slated for October 26 release. The music of the film is composed by musician duo Vishal-Shekhar.
