Summary A US publishing company published a comic book on the life of pop star Madonna.

Madonna can now add comic book to her list of accomplishments as Bluewater Productions Inc. makes her the latest edition to their Female Force series. In honour of her 53rd birthday, the 32-page comic book will touch on every aspect of the material girls life, starting with her childhood. The early stages of her career, the different music videos, her relationships the movies shes done, things like that. Just pretty much it touches lightly on all those things and gives you a general idea of where shes been throughout her entire life up until this point, said Thor Parker, the marketing and events coordinator for Midtown Comics. While the book is different from typical comics, the series has found a loyal fan base. The typically buyer for a series like this is pretty much anybody because we got a lot of regular customers that will pick this up for maybe for their wife or for their girlfriend. Or you know our female costumers, but then also these books get a lot of attention from the press so we got people that arent normal, average comic book readers theyll come in looking for these types of books, explained Parker. The Female Force comic series is filled with influential women who have shaped modern history and culture. These are just, essentially if you boil it down, its a biography of a celebrity. So theres not a real story as much as its just kind of giving you facts and dates about these peoples lives and things like that, Parker told Reuters.Others included in the series include Hilary Clinton, Oprah Winfrey and Sarah Palin, and later this year the company will release a book for Cher.
