Summary Pakistani women fashion designers step into US market by launching their brand in Washington.
The launching ceremony of a boutique, displaying Pakistani couture, was held in Washington’s George Town area.Two Pakistani designers, Deeba and Farzeen, launched their brand ‘Rani Eman’ in the US market.Apart from Pakistani expats, the traditional Pakistani attires were appreciated by Americans.Pakistani top models Nadia Hussain and Tuba Siddiqui were also among the guests at the launching ceremony.Nadia said that the work of Pakistani designers was impressive and would suerly inspire the buyers in Washington. She said that the ceremony glowed the George Town.Tuba said that this kind of ceremonies would help promoting a softer image of Pakistan.A large number of native Americans along with Pakistanis attended the ceremony.
