Summary The Muttahida Social Forum organised a ceremony for paying tribute to late actor, Jameel Fakhri.
Many renowned artists including, Firdous Jamal, Shujaat Hashmi, Irfan Khosat and Masood Akhtar, paid rich tribute to Jameel Fakhri.The artists said that Fakhri made a valuable contribution to popularise drama in Pakistan. They said that the kind of characters he portrayed was the bench mark for the youngsters.Jameel Fakhri passed away in Lahore on June 9 this year.He had worked in many films and TV dramas. The most popular drama in which he demonstrated his talent was Andhera Ujala in which he played the role of Inspector Muhammad Hussein.
