Police is hunting for the anonymous man who stole the valuable drawing titled Tete de Femme and fled in the waiting taxicab.The drawing, worth hundreds of thousands of dollars, was taken from the Weinstein Gallery near Union Square. Picasso created the one-of-a-kind drawing titled Tete de Femme in 1965. The portrait is of the artist’s second wife who became the most important of all his Muses and models. Picasso enjoyed creating his art on many media. From paintings to etchings to ceramics, all of his works are a testament to his skills.Police hopes a member of the public might recognize the piece if someone attempts to sell it. Police described the suspect as a man in his 30s wearing dark glasses.
