Summary Rihanna said that she has forgiven her father for his drunken and abusive ways of upbringing.
The US pop star, Rihanna said that she had a troubled relation with her father but she forgave him and understood his violent ways. She said that he himself came from an abusive background. In an interview, Rihanna revealed that she remembers abusive incidents between her parents when her father was drunk and also remembers seeing her dad smoking cocaine.While recalling an incident when her father slapped her, Rihanna said that she realised it later that her father too was a victim of an abusive and violent upbringing, which was why she forgave him. The singer was assaulted by her then boyfriend, Chris Brown in 2009. Rihanna filed a law suit against him for domestic violence in which brown was found guilty.
